There are several good reasons why you should use Pinterest for your business. This social media platform offers a great opportunity for both bloggers and well as new businesses. It will help you introduce your business and blog to a whole new audience. One pin could lead to ten pins, which could lead to another ten pins, and so on. Today there are many tools that help you make great use of this social media platform and Tailwind is one such that offers a great help. This tool can help you quickly grow your blog traffic and keep it growing over time.

The best part of tailwind is that you can easily schedule your pins in advance so that you do not have to worry about your work schedule. It helps you grow your blog audience in huge numbers and with its help you can easily promote your blog easily and quickly.

How to get started with Tailwind

It is very easy to use the Tailwind app for your Pinterest account. You simply have to sign up with Pinterest to create your account. When you will do this you will see a popup where you will have to authorize access to your Pinterest and then you just need to finish signing up and that is it.

Tailwind tools

There are plenty of features that Tailwind offers. Each of these features helps you grow your traffic and here we will discuss how you can use them.

Scheduled pins

The best feature of Tailwind is that it will help you schedule your pins. You will find many different ways in which you can schedule pins with Tailwind.

Using the first step you have to upload the image directly to Tailwind. Just go to your Tailwind dashboard> publisher>drafts and there you have to click on “upload images”. You can also drag and drop images directly to it.

After uploading the picture you can add a description and then choose what boards to schedule them. After you are done with adding and editing your pictures you can schedule them. With Tailwind you can easily add your pins to your queue which will automatically add them to the time slots that are empty or you can use an interval to schedule them. If you want to pin at your preferred time then also Tailwind gives you that opportunity to do it.

The other way by which you can schedule pins using tailwind is by using Tailwind's Chrome extension on any website or Pinterest. Here you have to hover over the image that you want to schedule and then simply click on the “schedule” button. Then you will find a pop up where you can choose boards to schedule to, edit the description and then schedule it.

STEP THREE - TAILWIND

The third step and the best tool that help's with  Pinterest traffic and boosts your profile/ engagement/ traffic for your Pinterest account and...

SmartLoop

This is the latest Tailwind feature. Using this feature you can reshare your best performing pin at the time you want them to. It will help you maximize your engagement and popular pins will help you get more traffic. This feature works best for seasonal posts and the concept here is that you can build SmartLoops that will keep looping the pins you've attached to your SmartLoop, repinning them again and again on the boards you've picked.

Tribe

This is one of the favorite features of Tailwind. It works like group boards but can be even more effective. Other than scheduling your pins you can add them to any Tailwind Tribes you are part of. Tribes help you share your pins and repin other people’s pins. Each tribe has rules and you have to follow them but many times it is 1:1 ratio which means that for every pin you add to a tribe you have to repin one from another tribe member. If the tribe is a good one, this can really boost the reach of your pins and so drive even more traffic to your blog.

Smart schedule

After you sign up for the Tailwind app, you get an option “Smart schedule” set up. This smart schedule is based on your accounts analytic, behavior of your followers and when your targeted audience is most active.
